The majority of body fat is burned at rest where it's the PRIMARY fuel. Part of the reason why sleep is important.

Calorie defict is good for fat burning, doing cardio helps to burn calories, strength training helps to build or make muscles stronger. the more muscle you have the more calories you burn you burn more fat to keep those muscles.
