I started at the end of November 2016, and am down 21.5 lbs, from 146.5 to 125lbs. I am aiming for another 5-10lbs. I'm 5'0, 34 years old. The thing I am most proud of is how I have improved my physical fitness and I've grown to really love working out!21

I started 11 days ago and so far I'm down 9.5 pounds. I will say that it's diet and exercise. I'll admit to a bit of pharmaceutical help as well. Right now I'm only 12 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight. After that the real work begins to get off the remaining 40! It's gonna be interesting to say the least.12

Lost about 40 pounds since November. About 70 more to go to reverse my 1 year stretch of no exercise and overeating.8

I've lost 6 lbs. in 4 1/2 weeks. Although the scale isn't dropping (yet) rapidly, I overall feel better. More energy, I sleep better and my clothes overall fit nicer. I'm in this for the long haul14

As of this morning, I've lost almost 23 pounds in 49 days (312 - 289). I haven't started in on exercising yet, but plan to begin incorporating that soon. It's mostly a matter of inconvenience - the gym is not close by and living in NYC without a car makes that more than a slight annoyance. Planning to just cancel my gym membership and start doing walk/runs outside early in the morning. I have lifting equipment at home, so not concerned about losing access to that. Good luck to everyone on your journeys! You're all doing awesome!9

Down close to 16 lbs in 12 weeks. I *so* struggle with losing weight that I have to work hard to celebrate each pound when it comes so thank you for this thread! Previous to finding MFP, 2-3 lbs a month was average.6

No need to feel overwhelmed. You are doing great! You've lost 6.7% of your total body weight, which is much harder to do at 86kg than it is at 200kg! Keep it up!4 -
Congrats to all!!!
It will be 4 weeks into this lifestyle change & 13 pounds down. Very new. I keep asking myself what's the alternative ? So I keep moving forward to better health. Everyone's posts keep me motivated.6 -

Thank you! I hadn't thought of it in that way. 6.7% is pretty good3 -
WTG! This thread is very motivational, awesome achievements everyone!
I am down 76 lbs since starting in April 2016 with another 30-35 lbs to go. But I am gaining more strenght and improving my fitness level and that is my favourite NSV6 -
started 10th Jan - down 16lbs.
Especially pleased with the 2lbs lost over the past 2 weeks as I was ill and not exercising and did not stick to calorie goal perfectly. But clearly did enough! was good really as it did give me practice at keeping to correct calorie intake without exercise.
I do like the 'safety net' exercise provides though.
Congrats to everyone! we are all awesome!8 -
Congrats, losers!
