I need advice on stretching my hamstrings....I don't seem to be getting anywhere flexibility wise.
I usually stretch them by either putting one leg up on a bench, then flexing foot and leaning forward. Or, by sitting on the ground with one leg out and leaning towards the extended leg.
Any other effective stretches out there...or do I need to be doing it for longer??

I stand with my legs together and bend over at the waist and touch my toes (well attempt to anyways)0
