Hi, I just ate a packet of vegetable biscuits from Peppa Pig. And when I searched the calorie content it was a whopping 570 calories for 20grams but when I checked the nutritional information at the back of the box, it said 1990kj for 100grams and the packet that I took was 20grams. So technically, for KCAL it's about 94 calories. Can somebody please enlighten me? I am really scared.

Go with what's on the package.

Most of the database entries are done by users and they aren't all accurate. I enter the nutritional info for items that I eat into My Foods (without sharing with the database) so that I know the info is accurate.

I also log things immediately before I eat (rather than afterward) so that I don't have any surprises and I can change my mind about the amount that I want to eat of an item or if I really want to eat it at all.

I am really really afraid though. What if it's 570 calories? Do you really think it could be that? I am so stupid. Sorry

I hope/suspect you are joking, but anyways, education is empowering.
Calories in food come from fat, protein and carbohydrate.
Fat has 9 calories per gram.
Protein and carbs both have 4 calories per gram.
If the biscuits were pure lard, 20 grams of them would have 180 calories.

20g of those kind of sweets aren't high cal,94 cals for 20g sounds about right - go by the packaging.
And don't say you are scared, this is a learning curve, if they had been 500 odd cals, just log and move on.

    How big was the packet?

20 grams worth of biscuits is tiny ... like 7 water crackers.

Do the math. Can 20 grams of fat, at 9 calories per gram, be 570 calories? 20 * 9 = 180. Carbs are 4 calories per gram. 20 * 4 = 80. Sugar is 4 calories per gram. 20 * 4 = 80. If you had a 20 gram portion of some combination of fat, carb, even sugar, it was absolutely positively going to be less than 180 calories. How much less depends upon the specific proportions of the ingredients. So, if it was mostly biscuit with some vegetables and fat thrown in, I'm guessing that the 94 calories is true.

The biscuit came in a box. Each box had 6 packets. And the box weigh 120grams. That means each packet is 20 grams. Each packet had about 20 small alphabet characters biscuit. Estimate how many calories, the 570 calories just freak me out.

So 100g would be about 470 cals right? So 20g would be 94 cals

    Yep ... sounds about right.

I'm not seeing where it says 570 cal.

Don't worry! You didn't eat over 500 calories in a small snack packet.
There are 1990kj in a 100g serving. So, there are 398kj in a 20g serving.
398kj is about 95 calories. You are right and the database entry is very wrong.

If you want to enter your own information about this snack, here's how I would add it (Per 20g)
    Calories: 95
    Protein: 1g
    Total fat: 4g
    Saturated fat: 3g
    Carbs: 14g
    Fiber: 0g
    Sugar: 5g
    Sodium: 93mg
