Is there a way to alphabetize recipes?

Right now it seems recipes are listed by last one added. This makes it very difficult to go through my recipes to make comparisons of calories or group them together by category. I've used myfitnesspal for a number of years and was able to alphabetized before I connected myfitnesspal and my Fitbit and ended up with a newer version.

No, MFP broke the Recipe Tool sorting in October 2014 when they deployed the newer version.

I think there was a thread where a number of people made this request, but it has been at least a year since I saw it. I agree that it would make life so much easier, especially since I have nearly 40 pages of recipes stored. I have ended up with a lot of duplicates because it's easier to re-enter it than to try and find the old entry to see if I need to make any modifications.

Is this something they do not plan to fix? If so i may have to find another app/website to use.

Plus, when full, it drops the oldest recipe instead of allowing you to delete the ones you no longer use. I've been having to go back occasionally and "update" some of my older recipes just to bump them up in the order. Handy :/

I have no insight into what MFP plans to do or not do. Sorry.

This is really too bad. I've enjoyed using myfitnesspal for many years. But not being able to keep track of recipes I've taken the time to develop and enter is too time consuming. I will research other apps that sync with my Fitbit:(
