Has anyone ever tried GNC's brand of fish oil? Do you feel it's good quality? My eye doctor told me to get good quality fish oil supplements and I've been buying Carlson's but I have to drive past my house to the next town to find a store that carries it. There's a GNC right by my house and from the reviews on Amazon they seem ok (mainly no fishy burps is what I'm after here, lol). Anyone?

I've used it. I take it before bed, though, so if I do end up burping, I'm asleep. Ha ha. My poor spouse.

I always check labdoor.com before trying a new brand of supplement. Here's a link to their fish oil rankings:

whoa......Carlson's doesn't score very high. The doc said Nordic Naturals (which scored well) or Carlson's. Thanks for the link!

Ok, I went with Nordic Naturals. Not too bad in the rankings on labdoor and they got the thumbs up for no fishy burps in the reviews on Amazon!

I take Nordic Naturals and are really satisfied with their products. Their liquid Arctic Cod-D is the one I usually take, but their Ultimate Omega is the one that I usually recommend to most people. About 1200 mg of omeg-3's in 2 soft gels, and I've never had (or heard) any problems with the freshness of their products.
