Trail Mix

So how healthy is trail mix. I have been eating at 1200 calories and trail mix can add at least 200 more calories to get to 1500, but is it healthy?

    It depends on what's in it. Loaded with nuts, then you're getting healthy fats, but remember still fats so go easy on it. Loaded with granola and add ins ( dried fruit, chocolate, etc) not so much. Check the sugar content or make your own if you don't already.

    I only eat trail mix if I'm backpacking. Because it's so high calorie and easy to pack.
