Depends if whatever you're eating is putting you in the correct calorie deficit for your goals. Salads/vegs/meats/eggs don't automatically mean weight loss. What matters is that at the end of the day/week, you've hit your calorie targets.
Enter what you want to eat into your food diary area and see how many calories it equals. Make sure you're also accurately measuring out portion sizes (food scale is a big help with this).1 -
Ive had to buy these things only because the foods i was eating before isnt helping me they was full of fat like breaded chicken breasts, chicken nuggets, dippers, chips , burgers, cake , sweets thats all ive been eating and its not helping so ive went for a more healthier option? And i havent got a food scale yet but im going to buy 10

Welcome!
The foods you list sound good but I notice you have not mentioned any starchy carbs at all. That seems a bit restrictive and you may find it difficult to stick to. You can lose weight eating any combination of foods, as long as you don't eat too much. It's all about the calories and portion control.
Do you have a particular reason to avoid carbs? If it's medical, fine, or if you know from past experience that you are happier on a low carb diet then that's also fine. But if not, if you like carbs, there is nothing wrong with them and they will not stop you losing weight. You do not need to cut them out. Just control the portions.
Don't make this harder than it has to be. Find a way of eating that you enjoy, that keeps satisfied, and that helps you meet your calorie goals. It takes time and experimentation but there is no need to turn your life upside down.

Things like potatoes, rice, pasta, bread, noodles. A lot of people find that they need to make their portions of these smaller in order to reduce their calories, which is sensible - but a lot of other people hear diet hype and think they need to cut those things out completely, which you don't. You also don't need to cut out things like fat (which is actually important for health) or sweets. You can have any food you like (but it makes sense to reduce your portions of the high-calorie things).
I think your approach of adding more veg is excellent, not only will it give you lots of fibre and vitamins/minerals, but they will fill you up and make it much easier to meet your goals. I think you're making a great start.2 -

Calorie Deficit just means you are eating less than your body needs to stay the same weight. That is what makes you lose weight. Your 1300 calorie limit will already have a deficit, so that if you stick to that, you should lose weight. Try not to go under it as it is pretty low and undereating is not good for you. You want just a little deficit.1 -

For weight loss, the only thing that matters is that you're at the correct calorie deficit for your weight loss goals. What you eat to make up your calorie intake doesn't really matter though (for weight loss, nutrition is another issue).
To get started:
-enter your stats into MFP (your profile area that you set up when you joined). You chose a goal weight loss every week (2lbs for very overweight, 1lb or .5lb if you don't have that much to lose). MFP then gives you your calorie target-this already has your needed calorie deficit built in and your goal is to then start hitting as close to that number as possible
-begin entering in the foods you want to eat, into your MFP food diary. This will keep track of how many calories you're eating
-accurately measure out your food, using a food scale (you said you're getting one-this will be a big help for you!)
-as you get comfortable doing this, you'll start to realize that some foods make you feel full longer, some foods aren't worth the amount of calories they have, some foods you can cut out without missing them, you'll find lower calorie options for some of the things you like (for example I switched from regular soda, to diet soda), and then you'll also start discovering that some foods are lower in calories and you can eat more of them (like most vegetables).

It's not what you eat, it's how much that matters. Stick to the calorie goal and you'll be fine.2 -
When people go on a diet, they run to salads. Not a good idea because you're depriving your body of so many things! Plan out a 6 meal plan. Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, and snack. Snacks being fruit/nuts. And with each meal you have a full glass of water before AND after the meal.0

Not such a bad idea to bulk out with salad, as long as you're fitting in more substantial foods as well.0 -

I eat all this stuff (especially frozen breaded chicken products) most of the time and I've lost the weight twice now. Eat at a calorie deficiency, eat things you enjoy eating, and the weight will come off (barring medical conditions and such, of course).0 -
The foods are good choices but the reason it isn't guaranteed weight loss is because of quantity and toppings. If you replace 4 chicken nuggets with a 24 oz steak and salad with a ton of cheese croutons, and ranch dressing you won't lose anything and could possibly gain.
If you eat a 4oz steak, some homemade sweet potato fries or red potato wedges, and a veggie salad with a light vinaigrette you should definitely see a drop.0
