Losing the belly fat

Hi everyone!
I was wondering what everyone's process was for loosing the muffin top. I had lost close to 30 lbs from the past few months. The weight I lost was mostly in my arms, thighs, neck/face area, back, & some of in my tummy.

However, I want to fasten the process of losing it in the stomach! I am monitoring my carbs more and am cutting on eating rice at night. I go to gym almost every day and do 300-400 calories in the elliptical. I am also cutting back on juice (soda I cut back months ago) & drinking more water.

Thanks!

You simply need to continue leaning out overall. The stomach often retains more fat than other areas. There is no special process for targeting stomach fat only to get leaner (although building stomach muscles - and good posture habits - will help with the appearance of the area).

You can't choose where the weight comes off. You just have to keep reducing your body fat, and eventually it will come off. And that means continuing to eat at a calorie deficit. If you're naturally "apple-shaped" your belly will probably be the first place you put weight on, and the last place it comes off. A bummer? Sure. But not an insurmountable challenge.

Stay the course (and congratulations!) Keep in mind, excess skin is not fat; many require surgery to have it removed.

If you want a flat stomach, you will need good body composition (adequate muscle and low body fat). People always assume the latter is the only thing required, but there is a lot of underweight people still dealing with stomach fat. And when it comes to fat loss, fast isn't usually a good option. Fast requires a huge cut in calories and the average person isn't going to get enough nutrients to preserve or build muscle. Read the below thread.. It's a great start.

    This right here.

Maintain a calorie deficit, lift heavy things, and get adequate protein.

Yeah, if you could 'slim your stomach in 3 easy steps', you'd never see another muffin top. Just gotta keep loosing.

"First on ... Last off" A terrible saying but seems to bare out.
That being said there is another old saying and that is ...
"You fill out what you wear ....."

Consider up grading your pants whether new or from the thrift mart to the smallest
possible size which fits snugly at your waist.

It is a constant reminder for your body that your waist IS NOT the place to store fat
and I believe it kinda of works as a body sculpting device.

I have dropped from barely fitting in size 48 jeans to loose 42's in 78 days or so with only a 44 lb loss and I have a humongous belly ;) not to say I didn't lose elsewhere as I have dropped 1.5 inches off my neck for example.

I have 3 pair of 40's hanging on the closet rack and I check every few days to see if I can wiggle in them.

You can't spot reduce and once you discover all the places other than your belly that your fat is hanging out you probably would be less concerned about the belly anyway. When I was fat, I didn't think about how much fat was in my legs, even though I had to stretch my jeans to get them on. I didn't think about how much fat was in my face. I did think about how much fat was in my chest, but I didn't want to think about it. As for my arms, I had someone mention how tight my watch was when they saw it in a video I did. I have now had to take links out of the band and it is still loose enough that I can twist it all the way around my arm without too much difficulty. Even though it has been a couple of years, I still notice how much better my fingers feel when I interlace them.
