Maximum daily calories intake:1490
Diets: None. I eat anything I like or crave within my calories limit.
Exercise: Cardio- walking 12,000-14,000 steps daily. Weight Training- Sat and/or Sun for now
Current measurements: Waist above belly button: 30in. At belly button:32.5in. Hips: 47.5inch

March loss/gain: - 1.5lb
I'll check again tomorrow. I jumped on the scale this morning and it was lower. I'll take it. I only lost 3lbs last month but think I might make it to 5lbs this month if I stay on this track.

Officially 10lbs lost from when I started my weight loss journey on 1/2/17 I'm enjoying this slow weight loss approach. I don't have to go on any diets to lose weight. I don't have to go to the gym everyday to lose weight. I can walk and count my steps, eat what I enjoy in moderation, count my calories and still lose weight. Now this is sustainable! I'm easily bored eating the same meals. So I enjoy experimenting in my kitchen and cooking meals from different countries. I'm looking forward to starting my weekday weight training. I know I have muscles somewhere I've just never seen them

Hips: 47.25 (-0.25in). It's going to be a battle with these hips. Oh the struggle!
I started a very lite 15 mins weight training every other day this week. I bought a pair of 5lb dumbbells. I'm doing some up upper and lower body stuff indoors. I'm just trying it out to see if I can keep up.

Ran my first 5K race yesterday and beat my stretch goal on time, so I'm not even mad about the slight gain this week. Two days ago, I was down to 162.4, and I think that's probably where I'll return in a day or so. Just feeling good about my overall progress toward being more fit and healthy!8 -

I love the longer daylight hours after work! No more driving home in the dark.
Much better week. My first full week using the new scale, and numbers are starting to fall again, which is encouraging.
