Keto and electrolytes/vitamins

Hi, guys. I'm 2 weeks into a keto diet and I'm
1) very thirsty always
2) Bleeding more easily. It's not awful or anything, just something I noticed.
I just had bloodwork done before I started, and my iron levels/platelets etc were all normal/good. I heard someone say you should supplement Vitamin K on keto? I take a multivitamin, what else could I do?
About the thirst.. does anything help? My only beverages are water and black coffee (3 cups/day). Should I add more salt to my diet?
Going to add that I do not have a hard time following this diet, at all; and I have a ton of energy (hopefully this will discourage people who came in here to post "why are you doing this to yourself" etc... )

Your electrolytes may be off. On a keto diet you need 3000-5000 mg of soium per day, or more. There's 2300 mg of sodium in a teaspoon of salt so you probably need 2 or more teaspoons per day. If salt is low, you can't hold on water as well. Add salt to your water maybe.
If sodium has been low for a while the body will start leeching out K and Mg. You may need to supplement to get it back up. Avocados are a great source of K.2 -

Hey, thanks very much. I love avocados. Did not realize salt needed to be that high! I've probably been consuming 500-600mg per day, I make all my meals from scratch and rarely add it.
Maybe now I can be justified in eating bacon, too 8)0 -

LOL Yep. salty bacon works.
I was not big on salting my foods so I took to adding a teaspoon of salt to water every morning and drinking broth just to get the salt in.1
