Why am I not hungry?

Let me start off by saying I'm 5'5" and 236lbs. I've been dieting for over a month, and just started NutriSystem [day 4]. I've allotted myself 1260 calories a day to lose 2lbs a week, and I'd like to stay between 1000 and 1260 calories if possible. My problem is I'm getting to 700-800 calories and I'm not hungry by the end of the day. What's the deal!? I don't want to go into starvation mode but I also don't want to eat "just because". Is 700-800 calories safe? Should I be doing something different?
And these are just my food calories...I'm not counting the extra calories from exercise.

Give it some time. Your appetite will most likely come back. I'm guessing you did not become overweight while having no appetite. Maybe try some strength training, it can boost appetite.4
