what foods do you CRAVE?? ( i seem to crave proteins and fats)

I crave any hard cheese, especially Parmesan, Romano, very very sharp cheddars and Swiss.
Nuts, all types.
Olives.
Chickpeas and Kidney beans. I will eat them out of a can.
Fake meat products such as Seitan.
Seasoned tofu; Baked till crunchy outside and creamy inside.
Did I mention cheese.
I like chips but Kale chips are a good substitute, and I'm good at avoiding chips and crackers. I LOVE them but give me a cracker or a nut and I'll have the nut.
I have always been the type that ice cream and cookies can sit in my freezer for a year.

Mostly umami flavors like stews, mushrooms, tomatoes, nuts/seeds, especially salted and smoked, in addition to
all kinds of dairy products, but especially hard cheeses and cultured dairy products.
I love chocolate and ice cream and all kinds of sweet stuff, but they're secondary to the stuff above and I don't tend to have them daily like, say, tomatoes or dairy.1 -

Pasta, pizza, burgers/french fries, and all the desserts. So, when I crave them, I fit them in. Looking forward to my Reese's egg for dessert tonight.2

Cake - I second the love for buttercream icing. You can keep that whipped stuff. But mostly, I feel like I crave salt. Not really a particular food, but salt in general. Usually satisfied by pretzel sticks or saltine crackers.2

Olives. Usually green, but kalamata work in a craving pinch.
Chocolate, 72% dark. Bonus points if there's sea salt.
Peanut butter on crackers.
Navel oranges are the biggie right now.1 -
Fruit, chocolate, cream cheese, peanut butter, english muffins lol... I NEVER crave protein and pretty much have to force myself to eat it0

I rarely have much of a craving for anything.
I did when I started with MFP ... I craved bread. I didn't used to eat much bread but now I have a slice every day.
Any other cravings occur because I am missing something my body needs.
For example, after a hot humid weekend of cycling last weekend I have had a mild craving for salty food. That's normal under those conditions. I would have sweated a lot. It feels like that craving is easing today.0 -
I don't get cravings often...when I do, it's usually something I haven't had in awhile and there's usually some other environmental factor going on...like last Friday (usually pizza night) I really had a craving to grill burgers out on the patio...it was the first really spring like day we've had with temps in the mid 70s and I just couldn't stop thinking about throwing those burgers on the grill.
I also get cravings for various ethnic foods...particularly Thai, Vietnamese, and Indian when I haven't had them in awhile.0 -
Cheese, Chocolate, Sushi, Bread, anything fluffy and chewy, mochi, mashed sweet potatoes, soup, tea, coffee, lemonade. Honestly, drinks are my downfall, I would take a sugary drink anytime. Stevia has helped me so much.0

i usually get cravings around my period for baked goods. Think cinnamon buns, wienerbrød, kanelsnegl, kærnemælkshorn, Hindbærsnitte, Cremebolle (especially the ones they just had out for fæstelavn), honey buns, etc.
I also love ice cream and gummy candies (especially sour gummies). And of course chocolate.
When i'm in a really crave-y kind of mood i want three things: chocolate, salty chips, and cold coke. 10/10 would recommend.

I think that nutrient deficiencies cause a lot of my cravings. For example, I notice that I really crave unsweetened chocolate when I forget to take my magnesium for a couple of days. I crave red meat when I suspect I forget to take my iron. The worst is when my diet ends up being really low in fat for a couple of days, because then I just crave butter, cream, coconut, and ice cream.0
