Don't waste your time on magic pills and potions.

    Eat at a calorie deficit.

Concentrate on accurate logging - consider buying a food scale.

    Get in some movement.

Eat at a calorie deficit. <--- seriously - this is the most important.

Don't make it harder than it is. Just eat at a calorie deficit and you will get there. Eat foods you like. You will figure out which foods keep you satisfied and which ones aren't worth the calories. That may be different for you than for me. Don't worry about eating "healthy" or "good foods" vs "bad foods". Log everything. Even if you go over your goal, log it. Try to be more active, but whether you are active or not a calorie deficit is what will get you there.

I lost 30 lbs in a year just by hitting the gym 3-4 times a week, cardio and lifting weights. I need to lose another 20 lbs but having trouble. I joined this site for help. I now am concentrating on my diet along with my existing excercises.

For me it was all about the logging. That seemed to keep me slightly accountable to something. Second was the exercise. Don't think of out as dieting. When you diet, you cheat. It is only cheating if you do not log it.
