Just checked it out... Interesting site...

I enter my info and came out that my "happy weight" is 133.3 but I set it as 140-145 so I'm not not far off.

i feel like a dumb *kitten* but where are the results... i hit calculate and the page where you enter the stuff came back up.

Mine came in the same and said I was 'TOO YOUNG!" LOL

Same thing is happening to me. I'm going to try downloading a different web browser and see if that works...I've already tried Chrome and Internet Explorer...

If I change my body frame to "large", it's up to 145, which is much happier for me. My wrists are teeny-tiny but my hips are very wide-set. What do you think my body frame is? Hmmm...

Mine came in the same but it said 'TOO YOUNG" over my age. Just bump the age up to 21 and it will calculate! HTH!

Oho! That made it work! Thank you thank you. 138.2 is apparently my happy weight. Not far from what I'm thinking now...when I started on MFP my goal weight was 143, but I'm 4.8 pounds away from that now and it doesn't seem like it'll put me where I want to be. So ten more pounds to lose...that'll make a difference!

124?! I don't think I was EVER that small, even playing soccer year round. I'll stick with 130-135 and see how I feel when I actually get to that point. Kind of discouraging that it was so much lower than my goal weight....

It told me 161...which is 10 lbs ago and I am hoping to lose 5 more. Whatever.
  • Mine was 141.2. I will be very happy when I get to that weight!!! :) Maybe this is the motivation that I need!!!

I tried anyway though and I'm currently 4lbs under my happy weight and pretty happy but still battling a tummy :)

Bump your age up to 21, that's what worked for me. (Apparently if we're under 21 we shouldn't be losing weight? Haha.)

By the sounds of it, this is based on BMI.

I've never found BMI to be very accurate, for myself anyway. My personal 'happy weight' is 15-20 lbs. higher than the highest in my BMI range for my height. Just fine by me. :-) I discussed it with my GP and nutritionist as well and they agree.

I realize this is designed for women.....but it caught my curiosity so I tried it. It tells me 183.8lbs. I want to get to 185. So I like the way SELF thinks. haha

My happy weight was 126, that was my high school weight, so that seems reasonable. I weigh 115 now though. Makes me scared that I won't be able to maintain 115.

This one's not so accurate for me- says 144.1 and I would shoot the button off my pants through a brick wall at that lol

Hmmm. It's telling me my happy weight is 135 (where I am), but my goal is 130. And while I'm way happier, I'm not quite happy yet (I say, sipping my wine self-satisfiedly). Lol, maybe I should change my goal.
