Group for people wanting to lose 15 pounds -September

Hiya,

Im wanting to lose between 10-15 pounds by September as its my 1 year wedding anniversary and i want to look amazing!!
Looking for a few people who have the same kind of goals and are able to support one another, people who will kick me or you up the bum when motivation is lacking!

    Sounds good! I need all the help I can get! Since ankle surgery in December I'm having a rough time...my metabolism apparently was located in that cartalige they removed, because I've not had it since! Let's kick butt!

    Perfect, I wanna loose 10 pounds before school starts(september also)
    I've lost 9 out of my first 15, then I wanna loose another 10.: ).

    Well I guess the race is on! What kind of workouts are you each doing?
    I only workout 1 x per day for 50ish minutes either doing a walking DVD with Leslie Sansone or a weight loss workout on my treadmill that involves inclines and speeds, running and walking.
    Be awesome to have new ideas

    I do a kickboxing class 3x a week, and fill in with Insanity or TurboFire DVD's. Sometimes I will get on treadmill and run for 25-30 minutes, if I need a quick workout.

    Im in!:) I try to go to Body Combat 2-3 times a week with twice weekly dates with the weights. Going to add spinning to my weekly routine because it was doing GREAT things for my legs. Why I quit I have no idea lol

    I'm in!! This is the kind of motivation and accountability I have been looking for. How often are we posting stats? Weekly, or what?

    I walk two miles twice a day. Every other day I do Power 90 weight training. Will add more as I go. Bring it on

    With weigh ins weekly and measurements fortnightly?
    I realise we all have different weigh in days so keep it how you have it and post your results.
    I love walking, I do 4 - 5 miles a day with my walking DVDs. I don't always feel like running but the treadmill program i do gives me the run and walk ratio which is great

    I am doing jillian michaels 30 day shred. I walk my dogs and am running (when I'm not injured) training for a half marathon in November :O

    Thats awesome!! How are you finding Jillian Michaels? I tried to do it last month but was so sore after the first day i had to rest for 2 days and decided to try it later.... I would love to do it 30 days in a row, its just finding the time.

    I'm in! I have 6kg to go and it's the hardest 6kg!

    I dabble in running. intense yogo and 30DS.

    Could definately do with the support!

    I am looking to loose my pregnancy weight and more. I am in desperate need of getting in better health and shape.

    I currently walk an hour at least 4 times a day, with my son in the front carrier.
    and am planning to start the couch to 5k running program next week.

    Any ideas on other exercise's for beginners?

    actually not too bad but I just bought 3kg weights instead of1kg she is a bit of a nut case tho!!!!!!

    Posting my first set of results:
    Weight - 204 (I have only been on this site for one week, but it's been a week and a half since I weighed in at 210) I'm not extremely happy with that number, but only because I'm doing a weight loss competition with my wife at her place of employment and I don't like to lose.

    Measurements - Body fat % - 24.4 :mad: ; Neck - 18; Chest - 45; "Gut" - 42 :noway: ; Waist - 39.5; Bicep - 16; Thigh - 22.5; Calf - 16

    Well, that's it.

    I'd love to join in! I'm hoping to lose another 10-15, though it's coming off slowly. I am doing couch to 5K 3 times a week, and will likely add back some TurboFire on the off days.

    Hi everyone!!! Is it to late to join?? I would love to lose 15 lbs. My current weight is 140 and I would love to be back at 125! I am currently on day 4 of the 30 day shred and starting tomorrow I am going to begin the c25k. Good luck everyone!!!
