I don't have PCOS, but do have endometriosis... From one uterus sufferer to another, welcome to MFP. :flowerforyou:

I haven't got this particular problem myself but I know people that do and it is really tough. I know a few people who had success with weight loss by calorie counting and eating less carbs and upping their intake of water, protein and fat, and one person with picking up racquetball and that helped a lot but they were also younger. Also someone else who just started walking around the mall regularly in the evenings for about "3-4 rounds". But also with one in particular she completely reversed the damage to her ovaries with just the exercise.

Hi, I have PCOS and an under active thyroid, so I understand your struggles. Feel free to add me and maybe we can cheer each other on. I have 20-30 pounds to lose. I'm 5ft 2in and currently fall under obese category for BMI

I have thyroid issues (and a chocolate problem - LOL) - the slow metabolism frustration is real! It has taken me two years to loose 30 pounds. I have about 20 more to go until I am considered "healthy". Feel free to add me for support!
