A few years ago he got out of the yard and was hit by a car. It broke my heart to pick him up off the side of the road and put him in the back of my truck knowing he wasn't going to make it. He died on the way to the vet.

I miss him dearly.

Thanks Kace. He'd be gone by now anyway. He was ten when it happened, but I still miss him the same.

I love black cats! I have one named Smokey (he looked like a little black bear cub as a kitten) now who will be 15 in July. He's my cuddle bug and rules the house and the other 5.
