Why would a stretch make a difference to weight?!?

This is the strangest thing, and it's happened the past 2 mornings so it wasn't just a one-off, but I've no idea how it works.

I jumped on the scales this morning and it read 153.8lbs. Came off & had a huge stretch, bent over to touch my toes then stretched backwards as far as I could to ease my stiff back, then back on the scales. Weight now 151.2! It had been 45 seconds since I had weighed myself, and definitely hadn't eaten/drank/peed.

Anyone else experienced this bizarre phenomenon?!?

    Need a new scale.

    It's probably not the stretch. Some scales can vary even from one weigh in to the next, with barely any time lapsed. It could just be a matter of how you stood on the scale. Mine is sensitive. If I lean forward or backwards too much, I get an inaccurate reading. I try to make sure I'm standing up straight.
