This morning I got up and went for an early-morning walk around the neighborhood before I'd even had coffee. I did not worry about tracking distance or speed; I did not worry about calculating calories or losing weight. I just got up and did something nice and moved around a little to start my day. It felt really good.44

- I jogged on the treadmill for a whole song (~5 minutes/3.5 incline/5.5 mph) last week. I could barely do 30 seconds before. I can do aerobics for days, but I've never been good at running. Things change.
- The jacket I'm wearing today normally squeezes the life out of my arms. It's comfortable today.

I'm wearing size 42 jeans today at work. September I was wearing size 52.
Also was able to buy some cheap pants at Costco. They may not fit today, but they will soon. I'm not used to being able to buy things to wear at Costco.39 -
I had to change this morning after I put on my work outfit only to realize I've changed shape enough that I can no longer wear that combo. The shirt was suddenly TOO LONG without more stomach to balance it out AND the skirt is sitting lower on my waist. I looked like my torso was stretched out! Excited that even though the scale is almost arbitrary at this point, I'm still changing shape and making progress!23

Accidentally pulled my work belt one notch tighter than I have been wearing it and I wasn't sufficating!!!... Guess it's time to start using that notch on purpose!21

This intrigues me. Plan to hit the driving range this week. I'm hoping the lack of a gut helps my swing.14 -
We took our kayaks to the lake on Saturday. It was packed! The only place we could find to park near the water was between to groups of young bikini clad students. I know I looked ridiculous getting in and out but I had a great time out on the water! I also know that as the weight comes off it will get easier to get in and out of the kayak.26

Next weekend we have a wedding to attend for my fiancé's family, so this weekend we went shopping for something to wear. We went to Dressbarn, and the lady who greeted us when we walked in mentioned that they started at a size 4, and said that is probably what I would need. I politely told her that I thought I would be needing more of a 10-12, and she said,"Oh no honey, not here. 6 at the most." Now I think their sizes may run larger than most places, but she wasn't wrong. I ended up buying a size 4 dress for the wedding, and a size 6 dress for work because it was cute and on sale! It's been about 5 years since anything smaller than an 8 fit on me! I was so happy!39

Yesterday I did a charity walk for cancer and walked 14 Miles! Took 4hours 45mins mainly as it was a group of us so had to keep waiting for people before pushing forward. I did it, tiring but I did it! Well chuffed especially as we raised close to £6000 for the charity...even better44

I will add mine. Was doing cardio and had to pause to change because my pants fell off41

best one was last week when my coworker said , you don't even look like the same guy.30

I rode my bike a mile without stopping. I went slow up the hills but I didn't have to stop to catch my breath. I only use it about once a month and I'm always surprised st how much easier it gets each time.27

I ran today (albeit very slowly) and didn't absolutely hate my life!35

Trousers in a UK 10 (used to be a snug fit in a 14). Shift dresses for work and feeling elegant rather than pudgy.
People "noticing" that I'm smaller.30 -

Hahaha! Well I guess I get another one today: doing SL 5x5 and thinking well this OH press is hard today - guess it's about time I stalled out for a week- part of the process. Managed to finish and then deloading I realize I had not just increased the usual 5lbs - I had added 10! AND I still managed to finish all 5 reps!30

Well.
That went better than expected. Certainly better than last fall. For a first time out at least 2/3rds went the right direction.
Guess my lack of gut helps24 -
You know how there is a day in a moms life when she picks up her son, puts him down, and is never able to do that again? I thought that happened to me and my 11 year old last fall. I was really upset about this. Today, I jokingly tride to pick him up and SURPRISE I was not only able to lift him, but I was able to toss him on my hip and carry him around. I don't know who was more pleased, him or me. This is so worth it!39

I'm currently still breastfeeding my 11m old baby... 2nd kid. I will wean her soon as she is definitely showing signs of readiness. My NSV is that because the inches have been coming off so slowly (because of the breastfeeding...I tend to hold onto extra weight until the baby is done and then it falls off me) I have been waiting longer and longer to try on old clothes so I don't get discouraged about how they STILL don't fit.
Well, I waited too long! Ha! All of the sudden a bunch of my pre baby #2 jeans are falling off me! I went from a 14 to a 10 in a very short time! I totally skipped over 12's it seems! I can still wear the pants with the help of a belt, which BTW my belt is only ONE NOTCH from the most heavily used hole, and that hole is from pre baby NUMBER ONE. I'm coming for ya smallest little notch!!29 -
I've lost enough weight to get rid of my lower back pain while walking that I've been experiencing with the last 30lbs I had gained. I'm glad there are no more good excuses now for getting my butt outside haha.25

trying to figure out how to express this one made me laugh. ti's hard to describe but, well. i know what i mean.
that thing where you're sitting down and you look at your thighs and there's kind of a furrow all along the outside of your leg? like, the fat isn't deep enough any more to reach all the way up, so you get this demarcation-line thing.
i guess another way of putting it is: used to be when i sat down i was sitting in this puddle of my own self that was all the way deep. but the puddle is shrinking dramatically - to the point where it's visible where the fat-puddle ends and the 'me' part begins.
probably grossed out a lot of people. but like i said: i know exactly the thing that i mean.35 -

I fit into a size 12 yesterday!
And, since my weight loss has come to a halt I decided to up my calories to 1600 and go on something of a break from the aggressive loss for a week or so. I also thought I would dial back the exercise for a week, but my body will not let me stop. It is funny - I get all fidgety and the muscles inside my legs seem to be itching - and they DEMAND that I get on the treadmill and walk. I used to say that I would RUN only if zombies were chasing me, but I am getting the urge to jog a bit. Or rather my legs are getting the urge and I'll just be along for the ride.33 -
