A temporary uptick due to a week of excessive everything: restaurant food, heat, not enough water, travel in car. Already over two pounds of that are gone, but that was my Monday weight.3 -

Good morning everyone!
Stopping in again to say YOU WILL DO THIS!
I started 2016 at 233; started back on MFP on July 1, 2016 at 223. No pills, no shots, no surgeries . . .
I made it to ONEderland on Sept. 15, 2016 & as promised, I NEVER LOOKED BACK. At present, I'm 179.6 & on my way to my first ultimate goal of 160!
You know what to do:
1. Drink half your weight in water, in ounces (AND THEN SOME) daily
2. Plan you meals & snacks and make sure they are protein & fiber heavy
3. Cut back on the alcohol
4. Move more
5. Log every bite & swallow
6. Allow yourself an occasional fun day - don't skip the birthday or anniversary, ENJOY IT!
7. Stay under your allotted calories (99.9% of the time)
8. Love & forgive yourself for any snack attacks or bad food choices!!!
If you indulge during lunch, you can make better choices for dinner. If you miss a day of exercise (or two or three), get back on the wagon by doing five minutes, then 10, then 20 . . .
Three of my friends were supposed to start with me last July. I was the only one to stick with it. I am not perfect (November & December were set-backs), but now they're calling me all kinds of b*tches AND I LOVE IT!!!

It has been a while since I have posted here. I had not given up but the holidays and winter months were slow going. The Iowa weather has not been cooperating for bike riding but did get 8 rides in in March and 1 ride so far in April. This week rainy again so will have to rely on the wellness center for workouts. Weekend is looking better as it is supposed to be 70.4 -

Aww. Always sad to lose our furry friend. Tika a husky too? They look like fun dogs. My preferred breed has been Rottweiler. I currently have a pound puppy. Mixed god-only-knows what. Definitely some kind of bulldog in her. I don't think you can get a dog from the pound down her in the South without it having some bulldog in it.0 -

Onederland is a fun MFP slang way of saying weight number starts with a 1.
So last time I weighed I was 203.
Onederland starts at 199.
203 -199 is 4 lbs.
