I'm wanting to show my husband some love. I am trying to figure out a gesture. Not so much a gift.

I'm not super creative. And all I can think of is to bake him a cake while he is at work. Any other ideas??? What would make you feel loved?

When he comes home, greet him at the door wearing only clear saran wrap stretched around your body.

    That should do it.

Ya know...I have actually never tried this. Lol. Unfortunately my daughter will be home when he gets home.

Shave his face for him, then mow the lawn.

What does he like? Beer? Brats? Broads? Give it to him.

He is actually super simple. He likes video games. But when I offer to let him play games guilt free and I find something else to do, he seems to feel unloved. Lol. Like I'm ok spending time without him. So I want to do something for him that shows I was thinking about him and appreciate him, and of course, love him.

I'm not a male but I suggest making him his favorite dinner or dessert and then top it off with some quality time. Like give him a massage, let him talk about his day and relax, or surprise him with something simple and sexy like a nice bubble bath for two and beer. I'm sure he'll be happy with whatever you do and appreciate the effort :)

    This from my husband:
he likes it when i touch him a lot, hug him from behind unexpectedly, put my hand on his leg while we are just watching tv, any touch but lots of it.

My husband is a fan of touching. Very affectionate.

    1. stop talking
    2. maintain expression less face
    3. start biting him for no reason
    4. wait until he begs for mercy... :P
( sometime masochism works just fine... )

So, I'm not a guy either but you had to know with a title like that nosy girls like me would want to get our opinions in
    • I believe a birthday is a persons "special" day so I would ask him what he wants to do - his choice for all activities that whole day, 24 hour of his choice about everything you do or don't do.
    • Included obviously all his favourite foods, snacks, drinks, and do bake the cake (his favourite of course)...sweet gesture!

I don't think it's so much the gesture as the thought. My wife can make my day just by putting hers hands on either side of my face and kissing me as we pass in the kitchen or hallway.

What does he like to do? Is there anything he used to love to do like a hobby or something that he hasn't done in a long time because life gets in the way? we tend to have a routine day in day out because of work. And breaking that routine especially with something he loves to do would be a great gesture.
Would be my perfect day, go fishing, long drives to no where pretty much anything that breaks my work week routine.

Get him something related to any of his hobbies or interests, something that shows you pay attention to what he likes.

Do something different that he doesn't expect. Don't do the same old boring stuff.

Or... Just give him a steak.
