How long until I see results?

I understand this question is hard to answer, but I've been working out lightly since the end of January and more frequently (3-4 times a week) since the end of February. I eat around 1,200 calories a day and I'm about 5'4-5'5. I'm not sure what I weight but my measurements are 32-24-29. I'm only trying to lose a couple pounds and I'm slightly impatient. But I'm not sure what else I might need to be doing for weight loss.

What are your goals? What kind of results are you aiming for?

I think the first thing you should do is step on a scale and figure out how much you really weigh. Let us know when you do, so we can give you more helpful information.

If that's your profile picture, I don't see how you could lose more weight than that?
That's from 2014. I've gained around 15 pounds since then and I'm super uncomfortable with it.

My goal is to be around 110. I want to get my cardio up and tone my muscle.

    I don't actually own a scale, but I think I'm around 120 pounds? I remeasured my waist and it's 25", not 24".

Cardio isn't going to "tone" anything. That is a pretty low weight for your height.. if you aren't happy with how you look now then I would look into body recomposition (weight lifting while eating at maintenance)

Thanks for responding I agree with people saying recomposition.

120 is low end of normal. 108 would start underweight.
Step on a scale at the gym or better yet your doctors. You should consult your doctor.

What is recomposition? Is that more weight lifting? I do cardio and I use my own body weight to try and tone (Russian twists, V ups, planks, push ups).

I agree that the Op knowing her accurate rate is great as well. She's also at a normal weight which is true.

I started eating healthy and within my calorie allowance last Friday. So it's only been a week and to begin with my upper arms measured 31cm. I have just measured them now and they currently measure 28.5cm. So I've already lost an inch.

Feel free to message me if you want to know what I've been doing.

ETA: To clarify, when I say healthy I don't mean mostly fruit, veg and protein. I've still been having nachos, cheese, chocolate, crisps. But just in moderation and ensuring o keep within my calorie allowance.

Oh congrats! I'll send you a friend request and ask what your routine is. Thanks.
