Full body or split workout

I've been doing a split workout 4/7 days since November and eating 1200-1500 calories. Currently at 190 from 216. Contemplating changing to full body workout still at 4/7 days. Which workout do you prefer and why?

    You can't do full body workouts 7 days a week and 4 would be pushing it. The body needs time to recover.

    I like to do full body so that more muscles at a time are going through recovery and getting a few extra calories burnt. I do it three days/week, but I've done four with a less strenuous routine.

    3 times is good with moderate/high intensity.

    Other people would have different goals, schedules, experience and capabilities - better to focus on your needs/wants rather than get confused with what other people do.
    For example I only get time to strength train three times a week so I'm never going to do 4 days a week upper/lower or push/pull splits.

    We don't know what your split was and we don't know what your full body routine would be. Both an upper/lower rest, upper/lower and a 3x full body are common frequency templates, and often boil down to personal preference. I like full body, but recognize an upper/lower split helps with intensity sometimes.
