I fit in a glass or two most nights while I was losing, and in maintenance I have a couple glasses several times a week.
In the 90's I would have a "glass" or two of wine when gardening after work. Used a plastic glass since I was outside. Probably this size (24 oz).
Thank you Weight Watchers for bringing awareness to how many calories was in this!
So to answer the OP's question, although I realize some people can make it fit, I personally save drinking for very very rare occasions.2 -
I am trying to get to my goal weight as quickly as possible, and it is one of the things I cut out. I love wine and live in California in the wine country, so it is not easy...LOL3

Agreed. I have a glass (or two) of whiskey in the evening. It makes the going slower, but that's life.4 -
I didn't drink much before, but now I hardly drink at all. It's just not worth it to me. Literally the only alcohol I like are the fruity, sugary drinks--I hate wine and beer--so my favorites are all the high calorie stuff.0

I neither use diet as a verb nor gave up drinking beer.
I just fit my same lifestyle that I plan to live for the rest of my life into my calorie allocation.7 -
I drink once maybe twice for the week only if socialising. My drink of choice is vodka and soda water with fresh lime wedge. It's usually within my calorie intake as I am a light drinker.0

I probably buy a bottle of wine every other week and will have a 4-5oz glass a night until its gone. I do make sure to weigh it out though and the rest of my diet is pretty clean so its usually my one treat for the day.
ETA I also make sure I still have a deficit of at least 100c after I drink my one glass.0 -
I drink wine, everyday. Bottom line (for me) is that I am not on a diet. I have changed my eating habits. This means that I keep track of what I eat and drink. My wine consumption is included in my daily logging.6

Since I have started trying to lose weight I have cut back on my alcohol consumption. When I do drink, I try to plan for it by eating less calories or working out for longer than normal.0

Craft beer daily here.1

I don't drink too much but on the rare occasion that I do, I'll eat less calories and exercise more to try and make up for it!0

I can't stand the wasted calories. I'll put a dash of wine in a glass of water and call it good. Or just forget it. Or you can run a few EXTRA miles to burn it off. Jeez, why. . . .I guess red wine is supposed to be good for you, but its not worth it imo.0

A glass of wine here and there, maybe every other week? I know everyone will argue otherwise, but wine seems to impact me more than something else of the same calories would. I don't know if it causes water retention or what, but it definitely seems to slow down my loss.1

Thinking of not drinking for April just to see how it goes, but I'm drinking a lot less than I used to.0
