Like I dont have enough problems but...
I cant log on all day or everytime I eat. So today I did breakfast and put in excersie. But I couldnt log back in till tonight. So I just put in lunch and snacks and dinner. I didnt go over but I had over 2000 calories to play with today and I am like very close. It was lunch today : 1000 in just lunch.
What can I do?

Can you try to plan ahead? Like figure out what your lunch and dinner will be ahead of time and log it before you head to work?

i would try to do what tam (our HERO!) suggested. i try to plan ahead as much as possible. if its not on my log, i wont eat it. its more of a mental/self control thing for me though. i can check it at work but i am gonna get in t-r-o-u-b-l-e one of these days! :smokin:
  • What they said. Planning just a little bit ahead can really save your day. I've only been at it a month, but I've found portion control to be a gigantic challenge, so I have been concentrating on meals that help with that. The Hormel Compleats (and similar) are good calorie-wise (a little high in sodium) and with a few judicial additions I can pretty well nail my calories for a given meal. The frozen meals for two work well if there are two of you to eat them. If you eat the whole bag/box of food it won't work. Cooking items (casseroles for example) that can be cut into pre-determined portions and then putting away all but one portion also helps. Good luck.
  • I plan my menu the night before and I find it's easier to stick to when I dont have to think about what to eat next. I already know...when I have to think "hey what do I want for lunch today?" bad things happen, like fast food, or overeating. now of course things happen and change your day, like today, I was so busy that I missed my afternoon snack but then at 530 someone offered me a peanut butter cookie and I knew I could have it since I didnt have my 190 calories kashi bar at 4pm.
