Help, I'm stuck!

I started off back in September weighing 245 pounds. I've been eating a healthy diet and exercising, and I went down to 200 pounds two weeks ago. Last week I even went down to 197, and now I'm back up to 200. this is not the first time my weight has stayed at a halt for several weeks. I consume less than 1500 calories every day, and I burn 2500-3000 calories per day. I eat a lot of protein, vegetables, some dairy, and I've really tired to cut carbs and sugars as much as possible. When I workout, its 5-6 days every week, cardio 40+ minutes of very high intensity, usually followed by aerobics or lifting. So Why am I not losing 2-3 pounds every week? The only thing I can think of is my water intake is crap, I maybe drink 32 ounces of water every day, would that alone cause me to not lose weight? I'm still 55 pounds from my goal weight, and going weeks without progress is crushing.

How are you burning 2500-3000 calories? What are you doing? How are you calculating that you're actually eating less than 1500 calories? Do you weigh your food?

I do weigh my food & my fitbit calculates the calories I burn every day. I walk daily, use an elliptical 5+ times each week burning 400+ calories each time, and lift weights.

Also I did have a full panel of bloodwork done and all my levels are great except my good cholesterol was slightly low.

Factors like salt, menstruation, and even increasing weight during weight training can effect your water retention which would temporarily stall the number on the scale. If your fluid intake is low and you are highly active your body store as much water as possible because it's in a stressed state. Since you admitted you don't drink a lot of water I would start there. Always keep a bottle of water with you so you can stay hydrated all day long, try to double your fluid intake and see what your weight does in a week.

Your exercise and calorie intake would be right on track for fat loss so I wouldn't put too much stock in the fluctuations on the scale. You didn't gain 3 lbs of fat in a week when your weight went from 197 to 200 so the most obvious culprit would be water retention. You've lost 45 lbs already so what you are doing is working, don't let the little variations in the number on the scale get you down

Have you reset your calories since your awesome loss? MFP doesn't automatically lower it as you lose - you have to go in an manually change it. It might also be time to lower your deficit to
1 1/2 or 1 lb a week. Keep up the great work!!

If you're burning so many calories, you may want to increase the number of calories that your currently eating. It could be that your body is trying to hold onto everything you eat and will be ready to burn fat once you start taking in more calories.

Weight loss is not linear and your body does not work according to a weekly calendar.....
