When setting up your mfp account, it says choose your level of activity.... I put mine on the lowest because I didn't feel as though I was moving much at my job, but I got a fitness tracker watch (Not fit bit, some off brand) and it's saying I'm walking at least min of 10,000 steps while at work, then I walk at least 30 mins a night either on my treadmill or outside. So should I change it or leave it as is ?

I leave it as is and link the FitBit to my MFP account so that it makes adjustments based on my activity.

I say leave it as it is if you want you can eat back some of the calories you burned off some people say at least 50%. I also listed myself as sedentary, and I walk at least 30min every day. I also get at least 10k.

Eat back exercise calories base on my fitness tracker or when I log my walks on mfp ?

I can't link mine, or don't know how.. Maybe because it's a cheaper knock off ?

I know apps exist you can put on your phone that can track steps and some can be linked as well.

I would log your walks, then eat back the calories you gain from it. From there, give it a few weeks, if you're losing too fast, up your activity level. If you aren't losing, eat back less calories.

Here's a list of the apps that link with MFP. I use a GearFit and it doesn't sync either, so I usually end up just manually inputting my steps (if they're significant enough)

I hit 10,000 steps too but I work a desk job so a good part of those steps come from my treadmill time. I am listed as sedentary on MFP.
