Hi ladies
I am wanting to start lifting weights and would love to see pictures of the results you've had.
I know there are other threads on here, but they're so long and full of many comments that you have to go through pages to find the pictures.
So this thread will hopefully contain inspirational pictures that we can quickly access without having to trawl through loads of pages.
For those that are posting pictures, if you wouldn't mind specifying the following info when posting your pictures, it would definitely help.

How long it took to achieve the results:

I'm 5'4.5"
This is a little old. All pictures in the collage are from 2015. I was doing Strong Lifts 5x5/Ice Cream Fitness 5x5 at the time. The feb picture is my first day using a barbell since high school.
Weight change: about 153 lbs to 135 lbs
Calories: avg 2000 a day
I've always incorporated some form of strength training into my routine. When I can get to the gym I go heavy. At home I do lighter weights/bodyweight with higher reps, because it's what I have access to.

4.25 years into journey
All heavy lifting very little cardio a mini 4 month bulk between 3 and year 4 bc of newly discovered arthritis in my knee I had to cut the bulk short during that flare up. Was off nov dec 2017.
Calories cutting about 1650-1800 depending on the year. my diary is open
Cardio barely. I just began cardio this month.
Training 1 hour 6 days a week. Hitting everything 3 times a week.
I don't follow a pro program. I use progressive overload on the compound lifts. Squat, Over head press, dead lift I do not bench bc no spotter. then I hit isolations.
Don't put a time line on it. Just grind you will get where you want to be with consistency.
