Deficits?? Daily vs Weekly

Hello,
Does anyone do weekly deficits vs daily deficits? For the most part let's just say 6 out of 7 days a week I do a daily deficit. I eat around 1400 cals a day. But usually like one day a week I eat over with like one meal and a snack, not every week but maybe 2 weeks out the month I do the one day. I know about CICO. During anyone's journey which did you do daily or weekly deficits? Let me know, just curious!!

I do it every week. I enjoy my weekends with any calories I haven't used during week days.1

I think a lot of people do this. I eat 200 under each weekday so that I can go 500 over each weekend day.2

Not strictly either weekly or daily, but in the back of my mind I usually go under my calories by 100-200 per day to save them up for the weekend. Especially for the Friday Fish Fry. There are also days that I'm just not hungry, or miss lunch at work to get stuff done, so I might only end up eating 1000-1200 cals that day. But then 2 days later I'll eat 2000 because I actually am hungry or we might get lunch ordered in at work. It just depends on how I'm feeling.
The daily calorie goal is just a guide for me...I need to stay flexible because of real life stuff, so I guess I do just try to stay around the weekly range.2 -

Yeah...it's a continuum...you don't reset just because the clock turns. Energy balance happens on a continuum...days, weeks, months, years, etc...
Keep in mind that Monday morning weigh in might now be particularly pretty...you're going to likely hold onto more water and will have more inherent waste in your system from eating more over the weekend.0 -

Yup. I see a weekly "ripple" in my weight, which I know to expect.1 -
I eat 1400 weekdays so I can eat 2700 Sundays. Works for me. Just make sure you're not killing your deficit on the weekend day and you're good0

My daily intake fluctuates so I check my weekly average every few days. I've lost a little bit of weight every week since 9th Jan when I signed up to MFP.0
