Does anyone know of chocolate bars with fewer calories? The ones from organic sections or health stores

Darker varieties will usually be lower in calories. I regularly buy bags of Ghirardelli 72% squares that are 60 calories per square.

Some things have satisfying substitutions but, for me, chocolate isn't one of those things.

To get fewer calories, I eat normal chocolate (dark or milk or whatever I'm in the mood to have) in lesser amounts. I waste more calories trying to eat around what I really want than I would if I just ate what I wanted. I eat it slowly and really savor it.

I get this bar at Kroger in the specialty foods section or dove dark/dark almond squares.

I'm the same. I eat bits of alternative things thinking that "I'll be saving calories" and then I end up eating what I was craving in the first place... moral of the story for me is- don't fool yourself, just eat as much as what you want that can fit in for the day.

I found Lily's Chocolates in the organic food section
It's sugar free chocolate with 25% less calories
It comes in milk and dark varieties and it has no bitter aftertaste
There's also almonds, crispy rice and coconuts in the selections.
Per half bar (15 squares) it is 160-170 calories and has 12 grams of fiber so it made me full and satisfied
It is quite pricey though :(
    Around 4.00 dollars a bar
I wanted to find a chocolate bar like that
It's found in a Kroger far from where I live

Sugar free.... With added sugar alcohols most likely. I'd be wary of eating too much of it.

Get some cocoa powder from the Bulk Barn. Sprinkle a little in your chai tea. Sweeten as you please.

Why do people avoid sugar alcohols? :o
I eat lots of halo top ice cream which has a lot of it.

Some people experience pretty bad digestive issues when they eat too many of them. Bloating, gas, diarrhea, and the like.

I eat dark chocolate on a regular basis...usually 72% cacao, but sometimes 85%. These are much less sweet than milk chocolate and standard "candy bars". But you can't go overboard with it.

Usually, I buy Trader Joe's 72%. They sell packs of 3 bars for like $2 or $3...pretty inexpensive. One small bar is 280 calories, but usually I just have half a bar and it is indulgent enough to satisfy me for 140 calories.

Lindt is also very good (they have 72%). So is Green & Black.

I don't bother with artificially sweetened chocolate, so I can't offer any suggestions if you want the fake stuff.

OP there are diabetic chocolates, you could try them - they are no or very low sugar and I presume lower calories.

have not tried them myself though.

Poopydoop. I see what you did there ;)

I don't poop for as much as a week sometimes and I am always bloated

Sugar alcohols can cause bloat/discomfort.... I'd perhaps be laying off the halo top and SF alternatives and see if it helps.

It has something to do with your username, but worse.
