Trying to find the right Fiods

I am 57 and I had put on some extra pounds - so for health reason I need to drop at least 50 pounds- My problem is I don't know what foods to eat and which ones not to eat -- I usually don't eat breakfast and my lunch usually consist of chicken. My dinner usually is either rice and beans with meat - or it's boiled potatoes with pork chops --
Please if anyone has any ideas please help me out --TY
