Is anyone else worried about sticking with their diet with Easter approaching?

No, I'll log what I eat and make it fit my weekly calories.0
-
No. I'm spending it a lone so I'll just eat what I normally do. If I wasn't, I'd make a big plate of salad/veg and meat for dinner and just eat all the candy I want all day.0
-
Yes... will be really hard0
-
yes, its my first big holiday since I started0
-
Yes! I keep seeing spiced jelly beans (or as I like to call them, "crack nuggets") and it's really hard to not pick up a bag, for, you know... the kids.2

Naw.. I'm bulking so it will be a free for all. But meh Easter meals are not really my favourite. Even if I was cutting it's one weekend, then I'd move on. If you can't handle/moderate all the candy give it away, freeze it or throw it out.1

No. I'll probably psmf over easter, back to chocolate in work on Tuesday!0
-
Nope ... I'm taking a diet break over the Easter long, long, long weekend.

Nope. Having my baked Mac and cheese. Cannot wait.1

nope. we dont do anything special on easter so its just another day for us0
-
Nope. We don't really celebrate it anyway. Ham, potatoes, and a vegetable. That's it.0

I fast on Good Friday so usually end up under for the week (although I wouldn't care if I didn't -- I usually end up over on Christmas week) despite Easter feasting. It's just one day and for us not crazy. (I'm hoping to plan my menu today -- lamb will be included.)1

Am I the only person who doesn't like Easter egg chocolate? I'd rather a piece of normal chocolate... Cheaper and tastes better. And available any day of the year!4

We don't eat that, I agree that it's not that great.
We do have a nice breakfast and then a family dinner involving lamb and spring veg and other holiday-like touches plus some sweets (I think I'm going to make lemon-lavender cupcakes, although I often do a pie). I'm sure someone will bring something chocolate-y.
If I do Easter Vigil mass on Saturday evening (usually do), they have a party after (it's around 10:30 or 11 pm) with lots of things that people are likely to have given up, but I never really eat a whole lot there, since I'm tired and it's not really usually things I find irresistible (if I drank that would be more of a temptation, but I don't).0 -

We're making mac and cheese tonight. Now I'm looking forward to it even more!2 -
not really the big challenge will be not buying all the sweets when it goes on sale after Easter...2

Perhaps I'm lucky.... We don't have family to do things with, and I'm rehearsing/playing at mass on Saturday night, as well as a Friday night service so most of my weekend is spent working..0 -
Some ham, potatoes, veg...don't see what the issue is...0

Hahahahaha greeks feast especially on Easter and my family is no exception. Plan has it that we will all gather up and there will be a lot of food! I'll try to eat as good as possible, I don't want to end up feeling sleepy for the rest of the day :P0

I'm in shock! maybe it's because I have two little boys and they always receive a large amount of sweets from the grandparents, and their uncles. I guess I'm the only one with a sweet tooth here0
-
No I'm not, no eggs for me as I have no kids to buy for and usually Sunday roast for dinner at the parents meat, veg0
-
I plan to cheat, lol2

I'm not too worried because I don't really like traditional Easter dinner food. I hate eggs and don't like ham. Lol. I am worried about the candy though... I ate several pieces of chocolate today before I even realized I was supposed to be eating better.
We are also going on a little trip the Friday and Saturday before Easter so I'll have to be careful.0 -
Nope. Malteaster bunnies are my easter treat of choice and at 156 cals each they easily fit in my calories!1
-
I never stress over holiday and "diet." It's a small period of time and it doesn't mean I'm eating that way for a month. Now, the candy that can be pilfered from the little ones can last for days. That's more difficult. As for dinner, I'll be eating ham for days, sweet potato casserole and green bean casserole until it disappears. Thankfully now that my son is older the left-overs disappear rather quickly.
Eat what you need and keep working out. Enjoy the time and food with your family.2 -
Nope - I'm a grown up and don't receive Easter Eggs as presents.
Then again my children are also grown ups and don't receive Easter Eggs as presents.
Plus the long weekend is a chance to get more cycling miles in.1
