It says i should eat 1640 cals a day and my bmr is 1582 so how will i lose weight from this

    Your BMR is the absolute minimum your body uses to do things like breathing and keeping your heart beating. All movement needs more energy on top of this, so your actual calorie requirements for the day is significantly more than your BMR.
