question about dancing

is dancing at home good exercise if you do it every day for at least half an hour?

    it's not a slow dance like waltz xD it's more like how you dance in clubs :)

    Are you moving? Are you sweating? Are you getting your heart rate up? If so, then yeah...I think it's good exercise.

    Moving about is really good. Raising your heart rate to your certain "range" is even better. So intensity counts and I would say dancing is better than sitting on your butt all day. =]

    Truly depends on what kind of dancing you're doing. When I played the game Just Dance 2 for wii, even on the upbeat songs I found that my heart rate was not up very high and I didn't burn nearly as many calories as I had expected to.

    YES!!!!!! it is fun and creative and active! be aware of your intensity if you want to track it for calories, notice if you are sweaty or breathing harder than usual, but even slower gentle dancing is highly beneficial to relax, and keep joints lubricated and reduce muscle tension and stress.
    and, dance is on the list of top 10 activities to boost IQ!
