Resistance band/training?

I can't afford the gym I love right now and have been told I'll still see and feel major results with cardio and resistance bands...anyone else do resistance bands only for strength training? If you do any certain brand you recommend?
I've been watching YouTube videos of people showing all the different workouts you can do and I'm pretty surprised!

I just bought a set of bands on Amazon:

I can't lift weights (Lymphedema in my right arm, plus I broke it pretty badly a few years ago and had to have surgery, so not sure how much of a tricep I have left in that arm!), so I've been looking for other ways to build muscle bedsides body weight I've also been checking youtube videos for them and the ones I've tried have been pretty good.1 -
i use them daily , but they are not the only thing i use. If that is all you have, its better than nothing, but mix it up with some other stuff because they only do so much. You can add in body weight exercises like push ups or pullups and stuff and get a nice little workout2

I'm using Thera fitness tubes. So far, it's the only strength training I'm doing, though I think I might get into kettlebells in the not-so-distant future.0

I got resistance bands. 5 different bands with different tension. Various exercises can be done. I bought it from Ebay.
From gumtree you can buy weights for cheap. At home workout that is enough. Also add push ups, buy a chin up bar too. You will be ready.

Walmart sells bands of different tensions too, I saw some there yesterday.0

I'm also using exercise bands until I can get into a gym. I definitely feel stronger.1

I use old bicycle tubes and they're a lot more difficult than any band I've ever bought. You don't need a gym to get great results.0

Thanks guys, I'm going to try them and do other exercises as well. I figure they're better than nothing!
I really loved my gym membership and something about working out then hitting the sauna for 45mins then a shower just made me feel amazing. I miss it but maybe in the near future I can afford it.0 -

I use loop resistance bands mainly for mobility and flexability:
