I am really bad with starting project and not finishing, but these challenges keep me motivated with new & fun things every couple weeks. Now im nearing the last stretch and want to see if I can reach my goal by the time the new school year starts. I'm doing a 15lb in 15 week challenge to keep my goal small and achievable! JOIN ME and let's keep each other motivated!
You can also do:
0.5lbs per week x 15 weeks= 7.5lbs lost
1lb per week x15 weeks= 15lbs lost
1.5lbs per week x 15 weeks= 22.5 lbs lost
2lbs per week x 15 weeks= 30 lbs lost
If you're in- tell us a little about yourself, your SW (starting weight), CW (current weight), and GW ( goal weight) to get us started!

Hi my name is Candice. I'm a 37 yr old single mom of 2 amazing kids. Life is busy with work and kids. I started this journey August 2016 down 48 so yay for that but the last month I have really slacked off, haven't gained but really haven't lost and I can feel the difference to so this will help with motivation.

Hi! My name is Celeste, and I'm 43. I've been on a new "eat healthy fewer calories " kind of diet the last couple of weeks. I work a really physical job at a foundry, (where there is a lot of cookies, cakes, and pies brought in by coworkers) and I'm so tired at the end of the day it's hard to get motivated. I've been doing pretty good cutting out the junk food, but it's been tough. I love pie and chocolate lol. I'm married with two teenagers, and I'm also in a rock band. This weight loss challenge is exactly what I need!

I definitely agree with motivation and finding time to work out. It's exam time for me, and I'm super stressed. This time last semester I relied heavily on comfort food, and this semester I'm finding it hard to stay away from junk. I've kept my pantry stocked with small power snacks meal prepped and ready to go whenever I need a quick pick-me-up1

Greetings and low-calorie sweeteners! I'm Maelyn, bit quirky at times, definitely nerdy. I love sci-fi. One of my goals is to get down small enough to wear the Star Trek: TOS science officer's outfit for Halloween, next year, is the target. My struggles are emotional eating, binge eating at times, and PCOS, and medications.

TIP: DO NOT DRINK YOUR CALORIES!
Save your calories for more fulfilling meals and snacks! I dropped 10 lbs by cutting out cream and sugars from my coffee, and now I ENJOY drinking my coffee black!2 -
Hi. I'm MJ. My challenge is two fold in that I'm not only shooting for weight loss but also lower blood sugar numbers to either reduce or eliminate taking pills. I'm a little less than a month in and MFP has really given me clarity on how many junk calories/carbs I was taking in over what I should have been. My goal is to be at 245 which is a comfortable weight for my build with a 110 average blood sugar by the end of the year.

For anyone tight on time look into HIIT workouts. Its a quality workout where you go as hard as you can for short intervals followed by short periods of rest and be done in around 22 minutes with some serious calorie burn. No special equipment is required outside of a heart rate monitor.
Example of a Calorie Burner HIIT workout:
1. Warm up
2. 16 burpees (15 second break)
3. 16 push ups (15 second break)
4. 16 mountain climbers (45 second break)
5. 8 burpees (15 second break)
6. 8 push ups (15 second break)
7. 8 mountain climbers (45 second break)
8. 4 burpees (15 second break)
9. 4 push ups (15 second break)
10. 4 mountain climbers (45 second break)
11. 45 second run as hard as you can
12. Cool down
As far as food goes. A good cheap meal that has become a staple of mine is Simple Cafe Steamers. The Chicken/Broccoli version is as low as 190 calories and doesn't have all the junk you cant pronounce in the ingredients. More info here: http://www.healthychoice.com/simply-cafe-steamers5 -
Hello! My name is Leah and I'm a 33 year old mother of 3. I have been over weight since my late teens/early 20s. I normally hung around 155-165 lbs (5'4). I would "try" to lose weight for a few weeks and then give up. I never really took it seriously and it wasn't a big deal to me.
Then in 2013 I was put on a medication that made me gain weight FAST. I was only on it for a few months before I stopped taking it but I ended up gaining about 30 lbs and started 2014 at 195 lbs! I was in denial about it for a long time and kept thinking it would slowly come off with no effort (surprise, it didn't) but finally at the beginning of 2015 I got serious and started trying to lose it. I lost about 10 lbs and then found out I was pregnant with our surprise 3rd baby! Lol. After I had the baby, I was still stuck in the 190s. I really just kept thinking it would come off on it's own. I guess because I thought it was a fluke since my normal weight had always stayed around 160. I finally started changing my eating habits little by little several months ago. Then last week I got back on here to help myself stay on track.
I'm doing well. I'm still nursing my 17 month old so I get a little confused about how many calories I should be taking in to keep my supply but also lose weight.
Starting weight - 195 lbs
Current weight - 177.6 lbs
Goal weight - 140 lbs
Anyone can feel free to friend me!2 -
