TDEE - Help!

Hi All

I've just worked out my TDEE using the IIFYM website and it comes out as BMR 1388 and TDEE 1853.

Does that mean I'm meant to eat 1,853 calories per day to lose weight?

    Eat 1353 calories per day and you will lose about 1 pound per week.

    1853 is approximately the intake to maintain you weight. Eat less to lose weight.

    According to what I've read, you need to eat at least your BMR - but less than your TDEE - in order to lose weight... I would aim for 1400 calories a day and you should see some results. Good luck!

    Why? Do you not think that you can get those calories from fat while you are sleeping?
