Eggs. Lots of eggs.

Never realized how much fat yolks contain. Just make one white only takes it down. I am struggling to stay under my fat goal and get the protein, even with three and a half scoops of whey a day.

    Eat less whole eggs and more whites. Eat lean meats and seafood. Eat low fat dairy. I get 150g protein, and 50g fat a day with very little protein powder.

    You need fats too. Make sure you are balancing out your macros for your needs. Protein through poultry is easier to get with chicken breasts. It's not as cost effective as eggs, but chicken breasts pack a lot more protein with a lot less fat. Just make sure you don't underdo the fat simply because it's fat.

    What do you do with the yolks? We dont get just the egg whites here. If you want egg you need to buy the whole thing and I cant waste food like that.

    Egg yolks are healthy fats, unless you have cholesterol issues enjoy the yolks. I am over on my fats every single day simply because I eat nuts, avocado, Olive oil etc. Your body needs the healthy fats, embrace them. I worked with an nutritionist for a while as I had to manage my high cholesterol with foods because I was allergic to the medication. (I am not in a normal range because of a healthy diet and exercise) I had to submit my diary to her on a weekly basis and never once did she have an issue with my fat/proteins being over the MFP macros given. She use to say to me that there is a big difference in being over because you are eating a large #5 from Wendy's on a daily basis and being over because of nuts/avocado etc. Not that there is anything wrong with Fast Foods, but someone like me who had high cholesterol and unable to take the meds it was recommended that I give up the fast food/processed foods ;) Egg on my friend! B)

    We chuck them. I know people who feed them to their dogs.

    We can buy packaged egg whites here, but they are made from cage eggs. I refuse to buy them for that reason. The texture is also weird and snot-in-water like. We buy organic eggs for using whole, and free range for when we just want whites.

    OP I live in Italy. The oldest person in the world just died here last week at 117 yrs old. She said she ate 3 eggs a day.
