I dont think ive ever seen a live armadillo. They are always on the side of the road.

I accidentally ran over one a few years ago. I saw him run back off to the side of the road so I drove back around to see if I could find him, but he was gone. I cried and cried because I sure didn't want him to die.0

I once hit a coyote on the freeway just outside of Las Cruces.
