To those who have lost weight, has your sexual life improved? I mean, has it improved the quality of your life? Also, how is your stamina, post weight loss...
Thank you...in advance.

My stamina with everything is so much better. It takes a lot to get me out of breath which can only help in the bedroom!0 -

more interest, more confidence, more stamina0

Ditto to all the answers above.
I use to look in a mirror and kill my own sex drive. No fun seeing a fatty where I once use to be.
Now -- I am a sexy beast!!! :laugh:0 -
Hi
Dh is the same...wants it all the time
Guess I'm the odd ball but nothing has changed for me....well, I think I actually am MORE self conscious
I've always been a full C....even after having kids and b/f...everything was in good shape.....I also had a post pg tummy
After loosing 27 pounds, I am still a C cup...but my chest is severely deflated...I'm very self conscious about my chest now...I've never ever felt this way before
I also lost weight in my tummy and it, I think, looks worse than before....also delfated and skin is hanging
Oh well, sorry for the rant

I am in the the same boat. I look rather deflated also, but I try to do lots of push ups and crunches. I also try to be proud of my "battle scars". But to answer the original question: more interest, more stamina, and more flexibility!!!0 -
Gentlemen... Dr. Oz says if you're obese and loose weight, you'll gain length. If bigger is better, then yes.0
-
Things have not improved for me....
I am actually MORE self conscious now then when I was my heaviest.
Just like food, I just enjoyed myself without thinking about it before, now I'm analyzing every inch of myself daily and don't like what I see.
But then, maybe I just have a lot more body issues than other people do.0 -

This is not true. My boyfriend lost 40 pounds last year and did not get any bigger (Thank goodness!)0 -

I can't believe no one commented on this yet!
How do you think Tam ended up pregnant?! :drinker:0 -
well like more men I'm looking for it much more then the wife, but when i'm under 15% body fat for some reason she finds it hard to keep her hands off me. it has made our live together a whole lot better, I'm not just talking in the bedroom.0
-
Of course it has. Ffor one thing I'm not ashamed to be naked anymore, for another thing my fiance can't get enough of my brand new body! And of course, I'm not tired or out of breath nearly as often! I've also gained this awesome flexibility and... ok, well I won't go there but you get the point! :flowerforyou:0

The last time I did weight watchers, my 8 year old told me he didn't think I should lose weight because every time I do, we have another baby!
He was right, too. Everytime I lose weight I do get pregnant. So, make sure to take precautions if you don't want more babies.
I do love sex all the time, but when I'm lighter, it's more fun and my stamina is great!0 -
wender... your kids are smart. haha0
-
Yes, definitely!
Increase in self confidence + decrease in flesh in the way = better sex!0 -
Oh I def think so. makes it more fun and I feel more confident that is sure :blushing:0
-
I am hoping that things will definitely spice up for us when I lose some weight. 6lbs lost so far and I am feeling better, but I think 15 lbs down and I will be a lot "friskier"0
-
ditto!
and as an aside: Dr. Oz did not say a man actually gets longer, he said it looks that way because there is no fat obscuring the base. it is the same as it was, it just shows up better. it's a cosmetic thing, not any actual change going on.0 -
Yes..mainly due to self confidence0
-
I've only lost 12# but I already feel better! I just tend to feel sexier when I'm active. Plus, I've got DH doing the P90X and watching him workout is always nice. :blushing:0
-
It sure has! My confidence is so much better. I'm not wondering how much am I jiggling.....and all that stuff.
Keep at it MFPers!:flowerforyou:0 -
Sooo much better. I guess b/c I have put so much work into my body that even though I look like a melting candle. (loads of loose skin) I can't help but be proud of my smaller figure. New positions that were not even a possibility before lights on lights off who even notices anymore? I don't tire out as fast and have alot more strength in my legs and arms. Hoping to have a tummy tuck after reaching goal. Without the cow utters, my confidence level will be through the roof. can hardly wait.:blushing:0
-
It depends. I've been traveling quite a bit for the past month so, I've been alone.0
-
I've always wanted it more. I'm hoping that by losing weight my hubby will want it again too.0
-
OK losing weight does gain some lenghth for a guy, BUT having said that, that will ONLY be the case if he also tightens all the muscles too. The more body fat you have the more fat builds up around the base, so It stands to reason the more body fat you lose the more fat you lose from that area as well. You won't actually physically get bigger, you will just finaly be able to see all of what you already have!
I lost nearly 30 pounds a 3years ago and got pregnant. I am hoping it will work out the same this time around too0
