that I will walk at least half an hour every morning this week. After I fell last week, I haven't gotten any outdoor walks (I was regularly doing about 68 minutes every morning and sometimes evenings also). I'm feeling better, and the heat should be a little more manageable, so I'm getting back on this week!

What do you swear to do this week?

    I swear I will increase my water consumption. This is still really a struggle for me, so it will be my focus for the week.

    I just did a 23 minute walk but its 100+ outside so I figured that was better than nothing!
    I swear NOT to go out to eat until after my Wednesday weigh in LOL

    I've got nothing other than I'm going to do my best every day, but I had to say that I looked at the goals in your signature and now I am compelled to comment - it is inspirational! Applause! Well done!
  • I swear to increase my calorie intake (I'm below according to my daily journals) and my water intake....also to keep up with my workouts :)

    to add at least 30 minutes of cardio a day to my routine this week.

    I started off slow, changing the menu, for the first week. Now I am going to add in a little exercise each day in addition to the diet change. Week after that will be adding in strength training.

    I swear to push harder in my workouts. If I'm supposed to bike 35 minutes, I will do just that. I won't give out at 20.

    I will eat mindfully, forgive myself, and enjoy my zumba and yoga!

    And I have to agree, your goals and progress are fantastic and so inspiring!

    It's a good thing I started this, because I did NOT want to go for a walk this morning. But because I'd made a public announcement, I dragged myself out. I was a little slow, but not too bad. I can do this; I WILL do this.

    I will get atleast 30 minutes of physical activity every single days this week. And I will drink 3-4 cups of green tea (no sugar).

    I will log in to MFP every day and amp up my workouts, no matter what the temp is outside! I will drink more water and cut back on carbs..I will repeat my mantra "Nothing tastes as good as being healthy feels!"

    I swear I will log my food right after I eat it and not wait until the end of the day. When I wait until the end of the day, I find that I have eaten a lot more than I thought. It's better to know as you go along so you don't overdo it.

    I also swear that I will go to Zumba class tomorrow and I will do some strength training at some point this week.

    On a scale of 1 - 10, how pitiful is it that I want to add my kids' VBS music to my iPod for when I walk? That music is jammin'! :laugh:

    How's everyone else doing?

    Lion King soundtrack (Hakuna Matata) is great for walking to also!

    I have not one but two songs from the Cars soundtrack, and frequently think that I need to look at Disney more closely for others!
