In our last (JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS) we had a great start with everyone! In 10 days we saw 1,2 and 3 pounds lost! It's so great to have short term goals and to break up our long term goals in smaller increments so it doesn't always seem so overwhelming. So Starting on April 23 to May 2 just give me another 10 days--Lets see what we can do! Anyone else game?

Okay, I'll try it. My mother in law from London is here for two weeks or so, again (saw her for some time in December, January, February, not March, but April and May) and she is a self described foodie, who travels the world. Plus, I'm down flat on back w Herniated disks and knee injuries. Can't exercise much. So, not a good time to do this, right! The problem is that there is NEVER, in my life at least, a good time to do this! So, I'll take the challenge.

5'7", medium to slim build, but now I look much larger.
Weight, about 172 in doc's office, fully clothed, etc.
Starting weight was 167, a few years ago, but that was afer gaining 30 pds with injuries. Normal weight up to a few years ago was between 138 and 144. Between a few serious injuries and awful medication that made me gain weight, I don't even feel like I'm in my own body. I don't like going out where I run into people because they hardly recognize me.
Obstacles: injuries, can't exercise right now, my partner and I drink too much wine (for me a couple of glasses, for him, 4 beers and a bottle and a half) and we eat late.
If not now, when?

Good morning. I've only been at this a week but already lost 4 pounds as of today. I know things can be really quick in the beginning due to water weight and other stuff I don't fully understand, so I am not expecting this rate to continue. It feels good to though!0 -

Started this kick in Nov, wanted to be in my best shape by the time I hit 50 in Aug. My goal was to lose 30 lbs, well now I am down as far as I have been in 15+ years, now I am so close to getting below the 200 mark I have set a new goal!!!1 -
4-23: 139 pounds lost 2 pounds since yesterday! YAY! well done guys we can do this !1

I could use the motivation - in a slump lately!
My rule for the 10 days: no shower goes unearned. I need to work up at least a bit of a sweat or no shower!
4-23: 127.4 (started at 154 five years ago - working on the last 12 pounds! I'm really short...)

Not a bad first day - got the workout in, ate well, even though there was one beer with dinner! Hope everyone had a good one.1

I'm in! Started at 182.4 on 3-20. Just upped my daily calorie target as I think I'm losing a smidge too fast. This will make me keep on top of it to make sure I'm not increasing too much
