    Successes / struggles this week: I take it !!! Tried to watch my eating to stay somewhat on track even though life got a bit hectic.

    I knew the scale would be off today because my boyfriend and I had a cheat day yesterday. On Friday I was actually weighing in at 162.2. Haha. Oh well I'd rather have the memories with him for yesterday than to post a bigger loss for a week.

    Successes / struggles this week: Yesterday I hosted a double birthday party and had a piece of homemade oatmeal cake even after I told myself that I wouldn't. I decided not to deny myself and feel deprived because that usually doesn't go well for me. I had logged my food ahead all week and kept well under my food goal so I could splurge a bit. Success was that I worked out every day last week, including Saturday. My husband and I even took an hour walk through the woods. Love that! I think the scale showed the results and I am very happy...plus I feel great...accomplished for doing so well with working out. Some days I hate doing it but I always feel good after :) I had someone that I hadn't seen for awhile at the party remark that they could tell I had lost weight. That made me feel accomplished too. All and all it was a great weekend. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't reach my goal yet but I remembered that technically I have almost a week before April 30th ;) Have a great week everyone!

    My band had a show on Friday night, and when you play in bars they give you free drinks, so I had two glasses of wine on Saturday night! I feel like I did a pretty good job of bringing the energy and burning it off on stage, but still. Alcohol is not great for the ol' metabolism. Successes: I did get a good burn in on Friday night playing tennis with a friend. I am still eating well and managing to prep food in advance so that I have no excuse to grab something processed and gross.

    Successes / struggles this week: 3 days away from my scale, on a business trip. Pizza for dinner (then breakfast) twice, including one deep dish with extra toppings. Still dropped (almost) a pound per day. That feels awesome. :-)

    I'm pretty clearly going to miss my goal of 250 by Friday, but I'm OK with that because I knew going in that it was a very aggressive goal. If I can maintain the weekend pace, I'll get under 255 by then. Almost certainly going to pack some pounds back on this weekend. Hopefully not too many. I'm in no hurry to revisit the 260's.

    Today is my last weigh-in of the month, as I'm going to con to enjoy a hedonistic weekend of geekery, sugar, caffeine, and alcohol, and won't be anywhere near my scale. Fell short of my goal, but 15 pounds is pretty awesome. See you all next month.

    Struggles/Success: I did well exercise wise. I found myself under calorie goal multiple times. I want to go buy some snacks to make it easier to hit it next week. I want to make sure I don't get into the habit of under-eating.

    Successes / struggles this week: Wow, I really wasn't expecting that much. I've been really focused and bearing down at the gym, I think that has a lot to do with this number. But over the last 2 weeks I've had good food days, and some not so good days. Perhaps giving myself a bit of calorie freedom has made a big difference. Gotta keep the body guessing maybe!? Anyway, I'm super pumped and sending out good karma for all of you on the same journey ... :)<3:)

    Company visiting led to more carbs, which I think caused a jump in water weight. I wasn't that bad on my calorie goals.

    Need a new challenge though since this one finished.
