Eat what you like. Try to make nutritious choices, but allow your favorite foods occasionally. Stay within the calorie goal this site gave you.
It's that simple.3 -
Well, I will tell you what I've been told...first, you have to do it for you, not anyone else. Once you make that decision, you more or less own your goals. I had a lot of the same fears. Do it slow and easy. Set your goal at 2-3lbs./week. If you only lose 1, it's okay. Never beat yourself up. As for what you can and cannot eat...I personally still eat everything I always have...I just eat smaller portions of it. I don't call myself having cheat days, but I do have treats on the weekend and sometimes throughout the week. I just account for those calories and adjust the rest of my day's meals accordingly. Oh and a bag of popcorn is low calories and a great snack. I hope this helps and I wish you much luck. I'm here if you need me. You got this!!!1

Fast is never the answer. Lose fast, regain faster.
Try to keep in mind that slow and steady really does win. If you lose 1 lb a week, that's 52 lbs a year! If you lose 2 lbs a week, that's 104 lbs a year! 1 to 2 lbs a week is a reasonable, obtainable goal for most people. I never have "cheat days". I do have meals occasionally that put me over for the day and I know that will happen...but I don't generally plan to have a day that I throw caution to the wind and just eat whatever all day.
