I just found out a week ago that I have gestational diabetes and need some low carb recipes. This includes things I can snack on throughout the day. All suggestions are appreciated. Thank you!

Jerky is excellent, Nuts, and cheese sticks for snacking. I make peanut butter balls with whey protein and stevia, a little vanilla.0

Turkey Jerkey or Turkey meat sticks with Lite string cheese is one of my go to low carb snack. Also try celery and natural peanut butter or lightly salted almonds.1

I recommend nomnompaleo.com. Really tasty dishes that are lower carb. I usually use soy sauce if the recipe calls for coconut aminos.1

Peanut butter and apple, banana and peanut butter smoothie with spinach and milk with lots of ice cubes, apple sauce and cheese, prunes and nuts, cottage cheese and pineapple, cheese and crackers, egg on a corn tortilla with a half an avocado, yogurt with some mixed nuts, carrots and hummus. Basically 1-2 carbs servings with a protein every 2-3 hours with a 10-15 minute walk after breakfast lunch and dinner. Dinner I would have 3-4 carb servings.1

Also, I went to a nutritionist to learn how to control my gestional diabetes and they said a carb serving was 15-20 grams per serving. Hope this helps! I was eating 6 small meals throughout the day. When I was extra hungry, I would eat only protein between meals.0
