JUST WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT JILLIAN MICHAELS 30 DAY SHRED...IS IT PRICEY? IS IT JUST AN EXERCISE DVD..I COULD LOOK ONLINE BUT I NOTICED ALOT OF PEOPLE ON HERE DOING IT SOOO...ANY TIPS WOULD HELP

ALSO WHAT DOES NSV MEAN? LOL I SEE IT POSTED ALL THE TIME!

    its just an execise dvd and its about $10 at any department store

    It's about $7 at Walmart. :) It's a dvd that has 3 levels (you do each for 10 days). It's only a 20 minute workout but it's pretty intense. 3 circuits of 3 minutes strength, 2 minutes cardio and 1 minute abs with no rest (plus warm up and cool down). I couldn't walk down the stairs the first week and I had been running 2 miles a day for 5 months before starting it. It works really well. Now when I go back, I can't believe how hard it was for me then.

    Im going to jump in and ask a question as well if you dont mind! You said 3 minutes of strength training!? Now do you need to have a certain amount of weights!?

    i would start out with 3 lbs lol cuz in my bootcamp i used 3 lb weights and my arms were sore

    Yeah 3lbs is alot if you use it right! Lol i think ....if you want me and you can get the dvd and try and work it together! Stay up on the progress you know ....i want to see a little bit of y first just to make sure i will have enough room in my dorm to o it!

    I did it for a week and quit. It does work your body but the circuits are too short (my opinion) and it was very boring. I didn't look forward to doing it and I can't stand workouts like that! It would probably get you a good base going for muscle if you don't have one yet. You may like it, so don't let me talk you out of it. Just sharing my thoughts. :)

    I like the video, I'm not getting the results I like tho. I'm beginning to think it's more of a toning and for people who are not overly overweight like me. But I suppose anything makes a difference. The price is great, not too expensive and you can prob get it on amazon cheaper.

    There is a JM 30DS before and after thread on here that is very inspiring. I am almost finished, I have 5 days to go! I am in a group and overall we seem to have lost more inches than lbs. I can really tell a difference in my clothes and posture. I have lost 7lbs and when I measured at 15 days at least an inch in calves, thighs, waist and hips.
