Do 20 push ups( on knees is ok) and if it's hot where u are do it later in the day if that help
Enjoy your Saturday night with family and friends but remember not to eat to crazy if you go out

Whew... I made the challenges... I missed that they were there! I drank more than 8 glasses, it is hot here also & I was running around in the sun for a better part of the day. The water is usually pretty easy for me. 10 tomorrow should be no problem:-) I am also under my calorie goal, I usually am so again not hard. Now tell me to meet the calorie goal & then I will have a problem.... LOL!

Ok, so 20 pushups for tomorrow & the water... got it!

    We got this everyone!!

Did the 20 push-up challenge and drank plenty of water. Volunteered at an air show today in this horrible heat so I'm sure I'll drink 10 more cups by bed time.

    GOOD WORK EVERYONE!!!

SO MY SELF I HAD TO GO TO THE GYM TODAY TO MAKE SURE I STAYED UNDER MY CAL GOAL (I HAD A REALLY BAD LUNCH) AND I DRANK PLENTY OF WATER

KITTYBELLS- HAVE FUN AT THE JAZZ AND RIB FEST BUT JUST REMEMBER NOT TO GO TO CRAZY...YOU CAN ALWAYS HAVE A CHEAT DAY(LIKE I DID TODAY) BUT YOU HAVE TO WORK EXTRA HARD TO GET THAT OUT SO MY SUGGESTION IS JUST KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO EAT BEFORE YOU GET THERE IF YOU CAN THAT HELPS ME SOMETIMES...GOOD LUCK...

    OK FOR SUNDAYS CHALLENGE:
ITS GETTING HOTTER EVERYWHERE SO DRINK UP MIN 12 CUPS OF WATER
10 PUSH UPS, 10 SIT UPS, 10 JUMPING JACKS
TRY TO GO OVER AND PLAN WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO EAT DURING THE WEEK...PLANNING AHEAD HELPS YOU NOT EAT THOSE LAST MINUTE DRIVE THRU MEALS

OH AND SORRY FOR POSTING SO LATE I KNOW A LOT OF YOU ARE ON THE EAST COAST

Finished the challenge for Sunday to include drinking the water...and it's only 0900 on the East Coast. I'm training for a half marathon so I had to run 6 miles today in this humidity. I used the push-ups, sit-ups and jumping jacks as my warm up. This group is a great way to stay motivated because I feel like everyone is keeping me accountable. Keep up the great work everyone.

I'm done with the exercises but still working on the water. I've got that plus by the end of the day though, I usually get in 14-16:-)

Well, I survived the Rib fest! Thanks for the encouragement. It was hard because there is absolutely NOTHING healthy to eat at those things. I would pass up a whole section of rib venders, feel good about it, then walk right into funnel cakes, chili cheese fries and frozen snickers! But, I drank lots of water and, in part due to the heat, managed to come out below my calories for the day. Sunday challenge is done, friends. Bring on a new week.....

I completed my push ups and sit ups and did a few extra. I did the jumping jacks but I have to be careful with those because I have a knee injury which is part of the reason I put on extra weight. I am still working to drink the water goal. I struggle with water because I dont care for it very much.

    Very easy summer recipe...enjoy!

    Sausage-and-Pepper SkewersIngredients
    • 1 cup couscous
    • 2 bell peppers (red and yellow), cut into chunks
    • 1 (12-ounce) package chicken sausage (preferably garlic-flavored), cut into 1-inch pieces
    • 1 large red onion, cut into chunks
    • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
    • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
    • Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
    • 1/4 cup fresh parsley
    • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
    • 4 scallions, roughly chopped
    • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
    Directions
Soak eight 8-inch skewers in water, at least 15 minutes. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium high. Prepare the couscous as the label directs.
Meanwhile, toss the bell peppers, sausage, onion and tomatoes in a bowl with 1 tablespoon olive oil; season with salt and pepper. Thread onto the skewers, alternating the sausage and vegetables. Grill, turning, until the vegetables are slightly softened and the sausage begins to brown, 6 to 7 minutes.
Meanwhile, puree the parsley, cilantro and scallions in a blender with the remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil, the vinegar and 2 tablespoons water. Season with salt and pepper. Brush the skewers with some of the pesto and continue to cook, turning, until the tomatoes are tender and the sausage is charred, 6 to 7 more minutes.
Toss the couscous with half of the remaining pesto and season with salt and pepper. Serve with the skewers and the remaining pesto, for dipping.

Unfortunately I didn't have that much internet over the weekend so I didn't see the challenge. But I will do the 20 push ups today! I always drink a ton of water. But I stayed under my calorie goal all weekend.
