How do you celebrate your milestones?

How do you celebrate achieving your milestones? Other than a "woo-hoo", nothing makes sense to me. Food is a natural component of celebrating, but I'm not depriving myself of anything. I'm just not binging. I'm no fan of shopping to celebrate. Kinda boring for me. I buy what is needed when it is needed.
So, how do you celebrate?

When I have had a good run and achieved something, I treat myself. So recently it's been to new items of clothing as most of my old stuff is now too big - and I had a massive clear out and binned it all so I don't have the choice to put the weight on again It's a better choice than a takeaway or cake, which if I am honest I'd like!
Tonight it was new knickers lol, I found my way too big old ones slipping down on the treadmill tonight in the gym They were a reward for the fact I'd lost so much weight my knickers had become too big8 -
I'm a dog. I have food.4

I don't care for shopping as well but I have to say, I'm starting to like it now that I wear pants that are 4 sizes smaller than before. I have been getting them at thrift store so I don't waste $ while losing but I'm getting new shorts for the summer1

Mani/pedi's
massages
new workout equipment for my home gym
when I hit my goal weight I plan on getting some new bikinis4 -
I splurge on a massage or on doing something I've wanted to do that I've been putting off for whatever silly reason. If I still can't come up with something, I'll add extra monies to my fun fund.2

Honestly, clothes help me feel better- wearing baggy clothes makes me feel like I have not accomplished much. I like to mix it up between fitness clothes and work clothes. I would totally do a manicure too- I rarely indulge myself like that.1 -
Oh, I uh, shop. I guess I also do extra self-care things to try and reinforce what I'm losing the weight for (to better take care of myself). At-home facials or manicures (not a big fan of going to someone), a nice long bath with a bath bomb, a haircut. Things like that.
Edit: I straight up have a list of things I'm going to buy when I reach certain weights on my profile. Delayed gratification can be a wonderful motivator.5 -
I'm finally getting myself a real gym membership this summer, as well as some more supplements and workout clothes.1

Tattoos. Although, I don't really have milestones anymore. I make fitness goals and I just feel fabulous when I can finally say 'I did it.'3

Let's get some shoes.1 -

I'm generally like that, too, but there are some obvious weight and size related exceptions. Like, after you lose weight, it's kind of fun to get new clothes.
When I got down near my goal weight, I got a set of expensive carbon fiber wheels for my bike. While they don't have a rider weight limit, they work much better now than they would have a few years ago.1 -
I haven't really celebrated any of mine except to feel like I was starting to look so much better.1

I celebrate by doing something.
So ... I'll cycle up Mt Wellington. That is a long tough climb! But I can do it now because I'm lighter and fitter!
Or I'll cycle a long, long distance.
Or I'll go for a challenging hike.

Oh me too for the exact same reason. I still have 20 lbs to lose and on my small frame it's a huge difference.my old clothes were WAY too big any more so they are GONE for good. I just can't pay full price for clothes I want to grow out of in the next three- four months.

I'm going to Maui/Hawaii in May. I not only reached my goal weight, but lost more (62 pounds total) and reached closer to "ideal" weight. I promised myself a trip to Hawaii 35 years ago if I ever got this thin again and by coincidence my sister in law was offered a beach condo at an unbelievable rate so I'm outa here!10

Cake sounds like a good idea.4

more self-care! whether it's a nice bath or just feeling better about myself. i'll usually do extra work because i feel good and then end up feeling even better.
shopping or buying rewards seems nice too, maybe work out clothing?1 -
I just let myself ride the joy of achievement. I'm not a shopper and don't really do girly self care things either. I eat what I like using portion control so and don't really have "treat" foods.
And I set a new goal lol.0 -
I think I might buy a new bike for getting to 240.0
-
I have a reward every 5 lbs, some are shopping related (i.e. new shoes or earrings), some are special pamper yourself type like manicure or pedicure. But the big rewards are my "adventure" ones, like a girls night out, weekend get away, trip to go kayaking etc. (These of course are bigger weight loss rewards)
I have lost 25lbs and have about 60 more to go

I am a month or so into maintenance and I realised I never did. Aside from cheering myself and feeling really damn good when I got to GW I mean. I guess I always felt like getting to healthy weight was literally the least I could do for myself and I shouldn't be so pleased about it.2

Yup. Picked up a Hybrid I can use to commute to work as well as ride on easy trails. Keeping my other bike for cruising.1 -
I bought a ring when I dropped below 200, but that was it. If I want something, I usually just buy it.0

I like to get/do things that are fitness related, but typically for just big milestones. I'm cheap, so I probably wouldn't do these things otherwise. I got an indoor bike trainer when I reached "overweight" BMI. I signed up for a rowing class when I hit Onederland. My next goal is to reach a healthy body fat percentage, which will be a nice daypack for hiking. Then all that's left is my final goal, which I'm considering celebrating with a kayak. I shall name it "78 Pounds".2

A coffee lol
I already buy books and clothes as and when i feel like it1 -
I lost 80 lbs and have maintained the loss for a year, but never did buy myself anything as a reward.
Nothing ever comes close to the reward of achieving goals you've set yourself.1 -
My sole celebration today for reaching a major milestone, was posting on the success forum here. Also a little bit of bragging to friends who think I don't eat enough (lol).
Not everyone agrees with me, but I don't see being a healthy weight as something to reward yourself for, I see it as a personal responsibility to myself to gain good health. However if rewards at milestones help motivate you and keep you on track, then that is absolutely what you should do. Remember we are all different and unique, so do what works for you!0 -
I've decided!! (Original poster here)
I really like dresses & skirts. I'm not very girly...more formal-like. I like dresses & skirts to wear to movies or dinner out or church. I do not own any now. I'm strictly a pants-girl for whatever the occasion. In fact, I really like formal cultural events--theatre, ballet, etc. But, I haven't gone for years. Part of the fun for me is dressing up, but not at this size.
As I grew in pant sizes, I choose not to spend money of dresses or skirts. My husband & children even think this is sad. They like me in dresses & skirts, 'cuz they know I like it. My daughter has my taste in expensive entertainment, but I only take them to community plays. Partly 'cuz of the money. Partly 'cuz I don't get to dress up.
Hear Yea! Hear Yea! I now proclaim my first reward! When I loose another pant size, I will buy a casual skirt that I can wear out to movies, theatre, dinner, or church.
I look forward to it!6 -

Well, my dear, let me introduce you to modcloth.com!0 -
I bought a great-smelling shampoo, but it is a little pricey, so I reward myself after a hard workout by using it (Origins, Ginger Up).
For bigger goals, I may get a (free) makeover at Ulta/Sephora or a fresh haircut. I also tend to buy small fitness-related items like a weighted vest or a sports bras.
I am planning a clothing swap with my local hairdresser - the clothes may not be brand new (although some of my pants that are now too big still have tags one them) but they will be new to me! This also gives us a reason to have a ladies night. Plus I don't want to spend a lot of money on clothing in a transitional size.1
