Why do you think you said something wrong?
Why not join the discussion in your other threads (I only recall one other one, but I know there were some questions to you). I don't think anyone was offended or taking anything personally, but we were responding to the topic.1 -

Wrong. You have to be within the site's guidelines or you get your posts altered/deleted, warnings if reported by enough people, and/or banned if enough warnings are on your account.
It's why I post stupid gifs.
For example, it is against the forum rules to post that someone is trolling.
This is totally correct. Even if someone is completely trolling, you cant call them on it.3 -

Maybe if you actually engaged in some of the conversations, you would see that we aren't all neanderthals here. There's a lot of spirited and lively discussions that go on. Remaining open to it when I first got here made a significant impact on my life. You might be surprised at what you can learn, rather than just repeating diet industry myths.5 -

it is also against the rules to reference the rules....5 -

I can confirm this as well... from personal experience. *moving on*

Preferentially on-topic for the forum, I would think. And we can't expect everyone will agree with what we say.5 -

And you certainly can't guarantee no one will be offended!2 -
Maybe you're posting on your phone and you've not been on web-based forums before? It is pretty old-school. I can see how if you are used to just blasting something on twitter or instagram or even facebook this kind of interaction would be a departure.
"Forum" by definition means, "discussion."
Discuss.7 -
Uh... is this a mean people thread? I'm confused.2

I'll never understand how some live life thinking people are mean because they've been corrected or disagreed with. Learning is a beautiful thing.
OP, I've seen the threads you've started. You come across as someone who doesn't care for science, correct?
1. Eating after a certain time of day does not cause weight gain. Your body cannot tell the time and metabolisms run 24/7. Proven by science.
2. Fat and sugar are not the cause of weight gain/obesity; excess calories are. Again, proven by science.11 -
You know what's even more annoying?? When people start a thread, but don't bother to return.. I think the people who take time out of their day to reply and try and help the OP should "take it personal" when the original poster doesn't even bother coming back to their thread to acknowledge the replies they have received, or discuss or expand on their questions!!16

Dear Posters,
I wanted to offer a brief explanation for the locking of this thread.
The forum guidelines include this item:
2. No Hi-Jacking, Trolling, or Flame-baiting
Please stay on-topic within a forum topic. Off-topic or derogatory remarks are disrespectful. Please either contribute politely and constructively to a topic, or move on without posting. This includes posts that encourage the drama in a topic to escalate, or posts intended to incite an uproar from the community.
In many cases we are able to edit out the posts that violate this guideline, but unfortunately this particular thread has become too volatile to moderate efficiently.
If you would like to review the forum guidelines, please visit the following link:

At our discretion, this locked thread may be deleted entirely in the near future.
With respect,
